Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules of GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for

Standardization - Part 1: Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.

This document is Part 3 of GB/T 40565 Connections for Hydraulic Fluid Power - Quick-action

Couplings. GB/T 40565 has issued the following parts:

---Part 2: Flush-face Type at 20 MPa to 31.5 MPa;

---Part 3: Screw Connection Type for General Purpose;

---Part 4: Screw Connection Type at 72 MPa.

This document uses the re-drafting method in the modification and adoption of ISO 14541:2013

Hydraulic Fluid Power - Dimensions and Requirements for Screw-to-connect Quick-action

Couplings for General Purpose.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 14541:2013, and the causes for these

differences are as follows:

---In terms of Normative References, this document makes adjustments with technical

differences, so as to adapt to the technical conditions of China. The adjustments are

intensively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative References". See the specific

adjustments below:

a) GB/T 197, which modifies and adopts international standard, is used to replace

ISO 965-1 (see Table 1);

b) GB/T 196, which modifies and adopts international standard, is used to replace

ISO 724 (see Table 1);

c) GB/T 17446, which identically adopts international standard, is used to replace

ISO 5598 (see Chapter 3);

d) ISO 18869 is used to replace ISO 7241-2 (see 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8);

e) The reference to GB/T 2351 is added (see 4.2);

f) The reference to ISO 1302 in ISO 14541:2013 is deleted (see 4.1 of ISO

14541:2013).

This document makes the following editorial modifications:

---The title of the Standard is modified into Connections for Hydraulic Fluid Power -

Quick-action Couplings - Part 3: Screw Connection Type for General Purpose;

---The unit of pressure "bar" is deleted.

1 Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and requirements of general-purpose screw connection

type of hydraulic quick-action couplings.

This document is applicable to the screw connection type of quick-action couplings for general-

purpose hydraulic equipment.
