Scope

GB/T 40565.2-2021 (Connections for hydraulic fluid power. Quick-action couplings - Part 2: Flush-face type at 20 MPa to 31.5 Mpa) is available as an English-translated PDF.

GB/T 40565.2-2021 — This document specifies the dimensions and requirements of different specifications of flush- face type hydraulic quick-action couplings under a pressure of 20 MPa ~ 31.5 MPA. This document is applicable to flush-face type hydraulic quick-action couplings for connecting or disconnecting without pressure. NOTE. when the quick-action couplings are disconnected in the connected state, the separated coupling end automatically seals the upstream and downstream fluids.

Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the rules of GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for

Standardization - Part 1.Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.

This document is Part 2 of GB/T 40565 Connections for Hydraulic Fluid Power - Quick-action

Couplings. GB/T 40565 has issued the following parts.

---Part 2.Flush-face Type at 20 MPa to 31.5 MPa;

---Part 3.Screw Connection Type for General Purpose;

---Part 4.Screw Connection Type at 72 MPa.

This document uses the re-drafting method in the modification and adoption of ISO 16028.1999

Hydraulic Fluid Power - Flush-face Type, Quick-action Couplings for Use at Pressures of 20

MPa (200 bar) to 31,5 MPa (315 bar) - Specifications.

This document incorporates the amendments to ISO 16028.1999/Amd 1.2006.The clauses, to

which, these amendments relate, are marked by a double vertical line (||) in the outer margins.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 16028.1999, and the causes for these

differences are as follows.

---In terms of Normative References, this document makes adjustments with technical

differences, so as to adapt to the technical conditions of China. The adjustments are

intensively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative References". See the specific

adjustments below.

a) GB/T 2351, which identically adopts international standard, is used to replace ISO

4397 (see Chapter 4);

b) GB/T 7937, which modifies and adopts international standard, is used to replace

ISO 4399 (see Table 2);

c) GB/T 17446, which identically adopts international standard, is used to replace

ISO 5598 (see Chapter 3);

d) ISO 18869 is used to replace ISO 7241-2 (see 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6).

---The term and definition of "fluid loss" is added (see 3.1);

---The content of identification and marking is added (see Chapter 6 and Chapter 7).

This document makes the following editorial modifications.

---The title of the Standard is modified into Connections for Hydraulic Fluid Power -

Quick-action Couplings - Part 2.Flush-face Type at 20 MPa to 31.5 MPa;

Connections for Hydraulic Fluid Power - Quick-action

Couplings - Part 2.Flush-face Type at 20 MPa to 31.5 MPa

1 Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and requirements of different specifications of flush-

face type hydraulic quick-action couplings under a pressure of 20 MPa ~ 31.5 MPA.

This document is applicable to flush-face type hydraulic quick-action couplings for connecting

or disconnecting without pressure.

NOTE. when the quick-action couplings are disconnected in the connected state, the separated

coupling end automatically seals the upstream and downstream fluids.
