Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 23262-2009 "Test Methods for Non-metallic Sealing Packings". Compared with GB/T 23262-2009, except for the structure In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Added "Determination of dimensional deviation" (see Chapter 5);

b) Added "Determination of pH value" (see Chapter 6);

c) Changed "Determination of loss on ignition/temperature resistance loss" (see Chapter 7, Chapter 4 and Chapter 6 of the:2009 edition);

d) Change "(105±5)°C" to "80°C~90°C" (see 10.2.5, 8.2.5 of the:2009 version);

e) Changed "Determination of Acid Loss" (see Chapter 11, Chapter 9 of the:2009 edition);

f) Changed "Determination of alkali loss" (see Chapter 12, Chapter 10 of the:2009 edition);

g) Change "20% (mass fraction) sodium hydroxide and 5% (mass fraction) zinc powder" to "200mL sodium hydroxide (mass fraction)

20%) and 100mL zinc powder (mass fraction 5%)" (see 15.3.4, 13.3.4 of the:2009 edition);

h) Added "Determination of sealing performance" (see Chapter 16).

1 Scope

This document describes the dimensional deviation, pH value, temperature resistance/loss on ignition, bulk density, ash content, impregnating agent content, Test methods for acid loss, alkali loss, compression rate, rebound rate, friction coefficient, wear amount, corrosion resistance and sealing performance.

This document applies to braided and twisted (twisted) non-metallic sealing packings.

4 Sample preparation

In the direction perpendicular to the length of the sample, cut a sample of a certain length from the full cross-section as the test sample, and determine the sample according to the requirements of each individual test.

The quantity and length of the products are determined and dried.
