Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 14487:1997 "Pulp standard physical testing of water." this standard and ISO 14487:1997 The main differences are as follows.
--- "Introduction" of the pulp increased physical water electrolyte (salt) and other impurities on the papermaking pulp-like luminance (brightness) side impact Content plane;
--- The "Performance" Delete;
--- Increased its conductivity meter technical parameters specified;
--- The "storage" to "storage and use," and related content is supplemented with changes;
--- Increased in Appendices A and B.
This standard and ISO 14487:1997 structure comparison are listed in Appendix A.
This standard and ISO 14487:1997 technical differences are listed in Appendix B.
The Standard Appendix A, Appendix B are informative appendices.
The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee of the paper industry.
This standard was drafted. People's Republic of China Shandong Exit Inspection and Quarantine, China Pulp and Paper Research Institute.

Introduction
Pulp electrolyte (salt) concentration greatly affect drainage performance, pulp physical water electrolyte (salt) and other impurities on the papermaking Plasmacytoid brightness (whiteness) impact is relatively large. Since the electrolyte and other impurities content and electric conductivity of the size of the close relationship, so by Defining standard conductivity of the water, and to define the content of other impurities in the pulp electrolyte (salt), and thus minimize the electrolyte (salt) and its He impurities affect pulp measurement results.
Note 1. Even if the electrolyte (salt) concentration is very low, there will be a great impact on the drainage performance.
Note 2. The pulp usually contains an electrolyte (salt), which causes the pulp suspension to increase the electrolyte (salt) concentration and drainage performance.
Standard water for physical testing pulp
1 Scope
This standard specifies the physical measurement process for the pulp with water standard technical indicators.
This standard applies to all pulp.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
After purification, the conductivity at 25 °C not more than 0.25mS/m in water.
3 Test
3.1 Instrument
3.1.1 commonly used laboratory glassware.
3.1.2 Conductivity Meter. Measuring range 0mS/m ~ 19.9mS/m, measurement accuracy of ± 1%, with temperature compensation.
3.2 Test procedure
Pour in a cleaned sample 100mL 250mL beaker, the water temperature was adjusted to 25 °C ± 1 °C, tested for conductivity.
Preparation 4
By distillation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis or other suitable preparation method of standard water.
5 Storage and use
In the process of storage and use, the standard of water pollutants mainly from. containers, pumps, piping, valves and other metal or plastic material may be Dissolution of soluble components, the role of the absorption of atmospheric carbon dioxide or other impurities, microbial deterioration and the like. Therefore, the standard water contact Containers, pumps, piping, valves and other materials should be made of an inert material or no soluble components; pipes and containers should be sealed system EC, can not be mixed with air, and after a thorough cleaning charged water standard; the standard water has been made, you should use. If no period of time Use, should be drained of water and re-; regular standard water were measured to ensure compliance with this standard.
6 Test report
Determination of the pulp in the test report, the standard water used should be stated comply with the national standards.
