This part is Part 6 of GB/T 24328.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 24328.6-2009 "Toilet paper and its products Part 6.Water absorption time and water absorption capacity (basket immersion

Compared with GB/T 24328.6-2009, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The angle between the basket and the horizontal plane has been modified from 30° to (30+/-3)° (see 5.1.2, 7.1.2 in the.2009 edition);

---The temperature of the water during the test is increased, and the water temperature is required to remain stable during the test (see 5.4);

---Deleted the density requirement of stainless steel wire for cylindrical baskets (see 7.1.5 of the.2009 edition);

---The automatic test method is deleted, and the manual and automatic test methods are no longer distinguished (see Chapter 8 of the.2009 edition);

---Modified the data retention digits of the calculation results, from three decimal places to two decimal places (see Chapter 7,.2009 edition

---Adjust the precision to Appendix B, and add Appendix A.

This part uses the redrafting law to amend and adopt ISO 12625-8.2010 "Toilet paper and its products Part 8.Water absorption time and water absorption

Compared with ISO 12625-8.2010, this part has many structural adjustments. Appendix A lists this part and ISO 12625-8.

The technical differences between this part and ISO 12625-8.2010 and the reasons are as follows.

---Regarding normative reference documents, this section has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to my country's technical conditions and adjustments

It is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 186 with GB/T 450 which is modified to adopt international standards;

* Replace ISO 187 with GB/T 10739, which is equivalent to the international standard;

* Replace ISO 14487 with GB/T 22903, which is modified to adopt international standards.

---The scope of application has been modified according to the actual applicable objects of the standard.

---Adjusted the test water requirements, changed from deionized water to test standard water that meets the requirements of GB/T 22903 to meet my country's

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 24328 specifies the method for measuring the water absorption time and water absorption capacity of toilet paper and its products by the basket immersion method.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Water-absorption time

The time required for the sample to be fully wetted from the beginning of immersion in water.

3.2

Water-absorptioncapacity

The mass of water absorbed per unit mass of the sample under specified conditions.

4 Principle

Under specified conditions, place the sample in a cylindrical basket, and the cylindrical basket containing the sample is immersed in water under its own weight

In, the time required for the sample to be completely wetted is measured. After immersing for a certain period of time, drain the sample according to the specified conditions to determine the absorption of water by the sample

quality.
