1 Scope

GB/T 22868-2008 is the Chinese national standard on basketball, in the field of textile and leather technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of basketball. This standard applies to basketball for daily use and basketball for daily activities made of various materials.

f) The pattern and font are clear and correct. Competition basketball (secondary)

a) The leather is solid, the skin is slightly loose, the texture is close, and the surface is free of cracks. Each ball can be allowed to have a slight area of <=10mm2. 3 defects;

b) Artificial leather, synthetic leather and recycled leather have clear surface pattern and uniform depth, and no impurities, pinholes, bubbles, delamination, etc. are allowed. Sinking, allowing for slight creases, allowing for 3 minor defects with an area of <= 5mm2;

c) No bubbles or impurities are allowed on the rubber spherical surface; slight creases are allowed, and the cumulative spherical defect is allowed to be <=5cm2;

e) The rubber stem is straight, allowing for 2 defects with a depth not exceeding 30% of the leather and <= 3mm;

6 Test methods

6.1 Raw materials Before processing and production, the inspection shall be carried out according to the standards of GB 20400, GB 21550, QB/T 1646-2007 and so on.

6.2 Test conditions and preparation of samples Should comply with the provisions of GB/T 14625.4-2008.

6.3 Appearance quality Measured with a visual, sensory and steel ruler, vernier caliper in a well-lit environment with a viewing distance of 300 mm.

6.4 Quality The balance is weighed using a balance.

6.5 circumference length, circumference difference Inspection according to GB/T 14625.5.

6.6 roundness Test according to GB/T 14625.1.

6.7 Air tightness After inflating the ball to the specified in Table 1 of GB/T 14625.4-2008, it is allowed to stand at 23 °C ± 2 °C for 24 h, and the pressure of the ball is measured. Percentage reduction.

6.8 rebound height Test according to GB/T 14625.2.

6.9 Impact resistance Inspection according to GB/T 14625.3.

6.10 Heat resistance Place the ball in the aging box, heat up to 70 ° C, constant temperature for 48 h, remove and park for 4 h, check the appearance, which should meet the requirements of 5.9.

7 Inspection rules

7.1 batch The same variety and the same specification products produced by the same production process are used to form an inspection lot.

7.2 Factory inspection The product shall be inspected before leaving the factory, and passed the inspection and is accompanied by a qualified mark (or inspection mark) before leaving the factory.
