Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 12040:1997 "printed with a printing ink printing technology with filters xenon arc lamp light resistance evaluation" (English Chinese Version).
This standard 12040 and ISO .1997 for the difference.
--- References with GB/T 8427-2008 (ISO 105-B02.1994, MOD), the rest are identical.
For ease of use, the standard ISO 12040:1997 made the following editorial changes.
--- ISO 105-A02 to GB/T 250;
--- ISO 105-B02 to GB/T 8427;
--- Delete ISO 12040:1997 Foreword.
The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee ink.
This standard was drafted. Beijing Institute of Printing, Luoyang one hundred Lin Wei Ink Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yong Chemical Co., Ltd.
Introduction
The light resistance was evaluated in standard blue wool standards and ISO 2835. 1974 "print and printing ink lightfastness rating" provisions the method is technically consistent. However, ISO 2835 is the use of natural light to complete the effective light resistance measurement, this standard specifies A method of using a predetermined light source and simulate daylight filter and the test sample exposure to artificial sunlight accelerated test method is carried out.
In addition, the presence of a partial agreement with ISO 105-B02. If you want to get more information on the instrument and test methods, reference may be Read ISO 105-B02.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
Fixed light source in print is not directly affected by climate (filters xenon arc lamp) Resist the next role.
Resistant to a standard print, evaluation methods and evaluation methods specified in this standard are consistent prints.
4 Determination
4.1 Principle
Under specified conditions, the test sample and standard samples simultaneously on the blue wool xenon arc lamp exposure through a blue wool standard sample the level found in the test sample and the change to a similar level of light resistance was evaluated.
4.2 Apparatus and materials
4.2.1 Xenon arc lamp device
With air or water cooling apparatus xenon arc lamp, a method specified by the manufacturer shall be used.
4.2.2 Blue wool standards
Through the eight blue dye wool standard level compared to evaluate the print lightfastness. These dyes are not affected by temperature and by humidity, and can form a gradation level corresponding to a different color, brightness and print type.
