This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted. This document replaces GB/T 22762-2008 "Built-in motor thermal protectors for household and similar purposes", and GB/T 22762- Compared with.2008, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

--- Changed the term "motor thermal protector" to "built-in motor thermal protector" (see 3.2,

3.2 of the.2008 edition);

--- Deleted the definition of "manual reset thermal protector" and its related requirements, replaced by "non-automatic reset thermal protector" (see

1 Scope

GB/T 22762-2022 is the Chinese national standard on built-in thermal protectors for electrical machines of household and similar use, in the field of domestic and commercial equipment, entertainment, sport. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 9 March 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 October 2022. Classification: ICS 97.120, CCS K32.
