This standard is GB 16959-1997 "Information technology - Tibetan coded character set of basic set" and GB/T 20542-2006 "Information Technology Surgery Tibetan coded character set - Extension A "expansion set. The Standard Annexes A and B are normative appendix, Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E and F are informative appendices. The standard proposed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Information Industry. The standard by the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI). This standard was drafted. 3 Terms and Definitions
