Scope
GB/T 22143-2008 is the English-translated version of 饲料添加剂 无机酸通用要求.
GB/T 22143-2008 holds the general rules for inorganic acidifiers used as feed additives.
Clause 1 states that it specifies their technical indices, their safety and hygiene indices, the test methods, the inspection rules and the requirements for labelling, packaging, transport and storage, and that it applies to additives made by compounding one or more inorganic acids, which can raise the acidity of feed, lowering its pH value, or improve the quality of silage.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 606, GB 3149, GB/T 6439, GB/T 9728, GB 10648, GB/T 12456, GB 13078, GB/T 13079, GB/T 13080 and GB/T 13083. Clause 3, Technical requirements, asks in 3.1 for a product that is a solid powder or a liquid, of uniform colour and good fluidity.
In 3.2 it refers the quality indices to Table 1, which holds the moisture at not more than 10 %, the fineness at not less than 90 % passing a 1 000 micrometre sieve, the coefficient of variation of mixing uniformity at not more than 5 % and the phosphate content at not less than 30 %, with a note that single liquid phosphate preparations should meet the technical requirements of GB 3149.
In 3.3 it requires the product to comply with GB 13078 and its heavy metal and free compound contents to reach the indices of Table 2; the draft breaks off before that table, so the test methods and the inspection rules announced in clause 1 cannot be reported.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the inorganic feed acidifiers technical specifications, safety and health indicators, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transport and Storage requirements.
This standard applies to the use of one or more inorganic acid compound modifier made it possible to improve feed acidity (pH value decreased), or By improving the quality of silage additives.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Sensory Index
Product as a solid powder or liquid, the same color, good fluidity.
3.2 Quality Index
It should meet the requirements of Table 1.
