Scope

GB/T 22033-2017 is the English-translated version of 信息技术嵌入式系统术语.

GB/T 22033-2017 is the Chinese national vocabulary for embedded systems.

It collects the terms and definitions in common use in the field, from embedded system, embedded system solution and embedded system ecosystem to embedded software, embedded operating system, real-time operating system, embedded sensor, smart equipment and reconfigurable system, each with its English equivalent and, where needed, an explanatory note.

The entries are numbered in a single list and a Chinese and English index closes the document. It is meant for the application, development and teaching of embedded systems and for publishing and information exchange about them.

Compared with the edition it supersedes it adds 31 entries, revises 69 and deletes one. It replaces GB/T 22033-2008, was issued on 31 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 22033-2008.

This standard and GB/T 22033-2008 compared to the main changes are as follows.

--- an increase of 31 entries (see 2.002,2.003,2.007 ~ 2.015,2.022,2.023,2.025 ~ 2.028,2.038 ~ 2.041, 2.070-2.089, 2.090, 2.101, 2.102, 2.106 and 2.117).

--- modified 69 entries (see 2.001,2.004 ~ 2.006,2.016,2.017,2.019 ~ 2.020, 2.029 ~ 2.035, 2.044, 2.065, 2.068, 2.056, 2.059 to 2.063, 2.066, 2.068, 2.069, 2.073, 2.075, 2.076, 2.078, 2.086 2.010-2.091 to 2.098, 2.00, 2.103, 2.104, 2.107, 2.108, 2.10 to 2.113, 2.15 and 2.118 to 2.125.

--- 1 entry "Personal Smart Communicator" was deleted (see 2.88 for.2008).

--- Chinese and English index also made adjustments.

This standard is proposed and centralized by the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC28).

1 Scope

This standard defines the terminology and definitions commonly used in embedded systems.

This standard applies to the application of embedded systems, development, teaching, publishing and information exchange.

2 Terms and definitions

2.001 Embedded system

A specialized computing system that is placed inside the application object and functions as a message processing or control.

2.002 Embedded system solution (ESS)

Based on the embedded system or its hardware and software practical application.

2.003 Embedded system of ecosystems

Has been the existence of embedded systems to support the development of environmental elements.

Note: These elements include hardware, software, platform, tools, development examples, and so on.

2.004 Embedded software

Software that meets the special requirements of the embedded system application environment.

Note: These software include embedded applications and embedded system software.

2.005 Embedded operating system

To meet the embedded system application environment special requirements of the operating system software.

2.006 Real-time operating system (RTOS)

For the real-time operation of the object, and for its operating system.

Note: The embedded operating system uses multi-task real-time operating system.

2.007 Embedded sensor

A sensor test unit is provided inside the detection object.

2.008 Smart equipment

Built-in central processing unit CPU as the core of the digital processing unit equipment.

2.009 Reconfigurable system

Performance and status can be redefined or configured for hard and software systems.
