Foreword

This document is the second part of GB/T 21944 "Silicon Carbide Special Products Reaction Sintered Silicon Carbide Kiln Furniture". GB/T 21944 has The following sections were published.

This document replaces GB/T 21944.2-2009 "Reaction Sintered Silicon Carbide Kiln Furniture for Special Silicon Carbide Products - Part 2: Special-shaped Beams", Compared with GB/T 21944.2-2009, in addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Modified normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2009 edition);

b) Changed the code in the product classification (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the 2009 edition);

c) Changed the basic dimensions of angle beams, I-shaped beams, triangular beams and the schematic diagram of the shape of triangular beams (see 4.1.2, 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4 of the 2009 edition);

d) The requirements for chemical composition have been changed (see 5.1, 4.1 of the 2009 edition);

e) Changed the detection method of chemical composition (see 6.1, 5.1 of the 2009 edition);

Introduction

1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation of special-shaped beams of reactive sintered silicon carbide and storage.

This document applies to reaction-sintered silicon carbide profiled beams that are used at temperatures not higher than 1350°C.
