1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, acceptance and quality guarantee period, and marking for fungal pesticide powder products.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 spore

The reproductive body of a fungus.

Note. There are various types, including conidia, budspores, and chlamydospores.

3.2 Conidia

Colorless or colored spores produced by conidiophore cells (terminal/lateral, chain/clustered, various shapes and sizes, unicellular/multicellular)

Asexually reproducing cells.

Note. This is the most common spore type in fungal pesticides.

3.3 microbial density

The effective ingredient contained per unit mass or volume of fungal pesticides is the number of live bacterial colonies.

3.4 sporecontent;sporeconcentration

The number of fungal spores, the active ingredient in fungal pesticides, per unit mass or volume.
