Scope

GB/T 21427-2025 is the English-translated version of 特殊环境条件 干热沙漠对内燃机电站系统的技术要求及试验方法.

GB/T 21427-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a generating set in the desert - the derating in air at fifty degrees, the cooling that has nowhere to reject heat, the sand and dust in every filter and bearing, the fuel and oil at temperature and the enclosure that has to keep the sand out while letting the air in. It replaces GB/T 21427-2008, with the plateau standard GB/T 21426-2026. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, replacing GB/T 21427-2008. The document is under the responsibility of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. This page is published from the official record of the 2025 edition; the clause text of a standard this recent is not yet in circulation, and the figures, limits and tables it contains are those of the document itself, delivered in full with the English translation.
