3.1 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 12905 and established the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1.1

A combination of one-dimensional bar code and two-dimensional bar code into a bar code symbol.

3.1.2

EAN · UCC composite codes are used to identify trade items one-dimensional bar code section.

3.1.3

EAN · UCC composite codes for additional information on trade items (such as batch number, expiration date) of the two-dimensional bar code identification section.

Keywords used to uniquely identify trade items worldwide, including 14, 13, 12 and 8-bit digital code (GTIN-14,

GTIN-13, GTIN-12 and GTIN-8). GTIN-14 to EAN/UCC-14 standard coding structure is formed; GTIN-13, GTIN-12

And GTIN-8, respectively, under the trade mark Code (see GB 12904) EAN/UCC-13, EAN/UCC-12 and EAN/UCC-8 encoding structure

Code is formed. In the computer field GTIN it must be expressed as 14 digital standard fields (keywords), GTIN-13,

GTIN-12 and GTIN-8 for an appropriate complement to form a standard field 0 in front of the 14 numbers.
