Scope
GB/T 20686-2017 is the English-translated version of 草甘膦可溶粉（粒）剂.
GB/T 20686-2017 is the Chinese national standard for glyphosate water soluble powders and granules. It covers products made from glyphosate technical or a soluble glyphosate salt with carriers and additives, as sodium, potassium, ammonium, dimethylamine and isopropylamine salts.
The standard sets the requirements for composition and appearance and the technical indicators for each salt and form. The test methods include identification and the determination of glyphosate, of the cations, of formaldehyde and of N-nitroso glyphosate, together with dissolution and solution stability, persistent foam, dust and thermal stability.
It also covers acceptance, warranty period and marking, labelling, packaging and storage. It replaces GB/T 20686-2006, was issued on 31 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 20686-2006 "glyphosate soluble powder", compared with GB/T 20686-2006, in addition to editing The main technical changes are as follows.
The glyphosate mass fraction is changed from the specified labeling value to the specified specific value;
- increase the corresponding cation control index and analysis method;
--- increase the nitrite glyphosate control index and the corresponding analysis method;
--- increase glyphosate soluble granules dust control indicators and the corresponding analysis method;
--- Eliminates pH control targets.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements of the glyphosate soluble powder (granules), the acceptance of the test method, the warranty period and the marking, labeling, packaging and storage.
This standard applies to glyphosate from the original glyphosate or glyphosate soluble salts, carriers and suitable additives from the processing of glyphosate sodium salt, potassium, Ammonium salts, dimethylamine salts, isopropyl ammonium salt soluble powders and soluble granules.
Note: For other names, structural formulas and basic physicochemical parameters of glyphosate and nitroso glyphosate, see Appendix A.

3 Requirements
3.1 Composition and appearance
This product should be prepared by the standard glyphosate original drug (or soluble salt), glyphosate soluble powder should be easy to flow of powder, glyphosate The granules should be easily flowable.
3.2 Technical indicators
