Scope

GB/T 20684-2017 is the English-translated version of 草甘膦水剂.

GB/T 20684-2017 is the Chinese national product standard for glyphosate aqueous solution, the pesticide formulation of a glyphosate salt in water. It sets the requirements, test methods, acceptance and warranty period, and the marking, labelling, packaging and storage of the product.

It applies to formulations made of glyphosate sodium, potassium, ammonium, dimethylamine or isopropylamine salt with water and suitable adjuvants.

The requirements cover composition and appearance and technical indicators given for each salt in its own table, such as glyphosate and cation mass fractions; the test methods include identification, the determination of glyphosate, cations, formaldehyde, nitrosoglyphosate and pH, and dilution, low-temperature and thermal stability tests.

An informative annex lists other names, structural formulas and basic physicochemical parameters. It replaces GB/T 20684-2006, was issued on 31 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard instead of GB/T 20684-2006 "glyphosate water agent", compared with GB/T 20684-2006, in addition to editorial changes The technical changes are as follows.

The glyphosate mass fraction is changed from the specified labeling value to the specified specific value;

- increase the corresponding cation control index and analysis method;

- Formaldehyde control index is not more than 10g/kg revised to not more than 0.6g/kg;

--- increase the nitrite glyphosate control index and the corresponding analysis method.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, acceptance and warranty periods of glyphosate water, as well as labeling, labeling, packaging and storage.

This standard applies to glyphosate sodium salt, potassium salt, ammonium salt, dimethylamine salt and salt of glyphosate consisting of glyphosate and salt and water and suitable adjuvant. Isopropylamine salt.

3 Requirements

3.1 Composition and appearance

This product should be prepared by the standard salt of glyphosate salt, the appearance of a homogeneous liquid, no significant suspended solids and precipitation.

3.2 Technical indicators

Glyphosate sodium salt water agent should meet the requirements of Table 1, glyphosate potassium salt agent should meet the requirements of Table 2, glyphosate ammonium salt water agent should be consistent with Table 3 Preparation, glyphosate dimethylamine salt water agent should meet the requirements of Table 4, glyphosate isopropylamine salt water agent should meet the requirements of Table 5.
