Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 2031-1994 "Marine Fire Joints". The main changes in this standard compared with GB/T 2031-1994 are as follows.

---Modified the standard grade of the body material (see 4.1);

--- Modified the seal material grade (see 4.1);

--- Increased anti-drop performance requirements (see 4.5);

---Modified the structural dimensions of the DN50 fire joint (see 3.3);

--- Modified the marking method (see 3.4);

--- Modified the processing requirements in accordance with GB/T 600.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking of marine fire-fighting joints (hereinafter referred to as fire-fighting joints), requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and Storage.

This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of fire joints for ship fire protection piping systems.
