Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 20184-2006 "Technical Conditions for Raman Fiber Amplifiers". Compared with GB/T 20184-2006, the main technical The changes are as follows.

--- Modified the following technical index requirements. the working wavelength range was broadened; the equivalent noise index was distinguished at different working wavelengths;

---Re-arranged the reliability chapter, and changed the reference standard of vibration and shock requirements from GR-1312-Core.1999 to TelcordiaGR-468-Core..2004 (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the.2006 edition);

--- Increased electromagnetic compatibility test requirements (see Chapter 9);

1 Scope

This standard defines the terms and definitions and abbreviations of Raman fiber amplifiers (hereinafter referred to as "RFA"); specifies technical requirements, test methods legal, environmental and mechanical performance testing, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements.

This standard applies to distributed Raman fiber amplifier (hereinafter referred to as "DRFA") module products.
