Scope
GB/T 19882.222-2017 is the English-translated version of 自动抄表系统 第222部分:无线通信抄表系统 物理层规范.
GB/T 19882.222-2017 is the part of the Chinese automatic meter reading series that fixes the physical layer of the micro-power wireless link used to collect meter readings locally.
It specifies the structure of the signal frame, the channel coding and the modulation, together with the radio frequency requirements the transceiver has to meet.
It applies to the local communication of electricity information acquisition and management systems that use micro-power wireless technology. Utilities, meter makers and module suppliers use it so that a collector and a meter from different vendors understand each other. Issued on 29 December 2017, it has applied since 1 July 2018.

This section GB/T 19882 Part 222.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Introduction
The physical layer defined in this part of GB/T 19882 is based on IEEE802.15.4g standard and supports 470MHz ~ 510MHz band (MR-FSK) physical layer, multi-rate multi-area orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MR- OFDM) physical layer and a multi-rate multi-region offset quadrature phase shift keying (MR-O-QPSK) physical layer. Among them, MR-OFDM physical layer Support mode 3 and mode 4. In addition, this part also includes DL/T 698.44 standard, as the fourth choice of physical layer rules Fan. National Committee has no provisions 470MHz ~ 510MHz frequency band can be used as civilian radio metering frequency band.
