Scope
GB/T 19336-2017 is the English-translated version of 阿维菌素原药.
GB/T 19336-2017 specifies the quality of abamectin technical material, the active ingredient from which abamectin pesticide formulations are made.
It sets the requirements for appearance, a white to light yellow crystalline powder, and the control indicators of Table 1: the abamectin B1a plus B1b mass fraction, the ratio of B1a to B1b, acetone insolubles and the pH range.
It also covers the test methods, acceptance, and marking, labelling, packaging and storage, and an annex gives the other names, structure and basic physicochemical data of abamectin.
It applies to technical material consisting of abamectin and the impurities arising from its production. Pesticide manufacturers and inspection laboratories use it for quality control and acceptance.
It replaces GB 19336-2003, was issued on 1 November 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 19336-2003 "Abamectin original drug", this standard compared with GB/T 19336-2003, the main technical changes As follows.
--- Abamectin B1a and B1b ratio from not less than 4.0 to not less than 10.0.
--- Canceled the drying reduction control project.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the avermectin original drug requirements, test methods, acceptance and signs, labels, packaging and storage.
This standard applies to abamectin and its production by the impurities in the composition of avermectin original drug.
