Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 6694-1998 "Cypermethrin Technical Grade". Compared with GB/T 6694-1998, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The technical requirements for appearance have been changed (see 4.1,

3.1 in the.1998 edition);

---The mass fraction of cypermethrin has been changed (see 4.2,

3.2 in the.1998 edition);

---The ranking system has been removed (see section

3.2 of the.1998 edition);

4.1 of the.1998 edition);

---An infrared spectroscopy identification test has been added (see 5.3.1);

---The method for determining the mass fraction of cypermethrin has been revised (see 5.5,

4.3 of the.1998 edition, and Appendix A);

---The method for determining moisture content has been changed (see 5.6,

1 Scope

GB/T 6694-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering fenvalerate technical - the assay and the isomer ratio, which matters because the insecticidal activity sits in particular isomers, the related impurities, the moisture and acidity, and the analytical methods. It replaces GB/T 6694-1998, a standard twenty-seven years old, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In force from 1 May 2026. It was issued on 31 October 2025 and has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 6694-1998. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, acceptance and quality guarantee period for cypermethrin technical grade, as well as its marking, labeling, packaging, and storage. The test method for cypermethrin technical grade is described. This document applies to the quality control of cypermethrin technical products.
