Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 19117-2003 "acid rain observation specification", compared with GB/T 19117-2003 main technical changes are as follows.

- modified the definition of "pH for atmospheric precipitation" (see 3.3, 3.3 of 2003);

- the definition of "atmospheric precipitation conductivity" (see 3.4, 2003 3.4);

- the definition of "standard buffer solution" has been added (see 3.5);

- Increased technical requirements for automatic precipitation sampling equipment (see 6.2);

- Increased technical requirements for periodic verification of pH and conductivity meters (see 8.3);

- Increased technical specifications for the performance of the electrode for measuring electrode performance and conductivity (see 8.1 and 8.2);

- technical provisions for the verification of precipitation pH and precipitation conductance data (see 11.1 and Appendix D);

- modified the style of the acid rain observation record book in Appendix F (informative) (see Appendix F, Appendix E of the 2003 edition);

- Added technical requirements for the format of the observational data document (see Appendix G) in Appendix G (informative);

- amended the technical requirements for the recording of relevant weather phenomena in Appendix H (informative) (see Appendix H, Appendix F of the 2003 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general principles of acid rain observation, observation sites, precipitation sampling equipment, observation laboratories, pH meters and conductivity meters, precipitation Product collection and measurement preparation, precipitation measurement, quality control and quality assurance, acid rain observation records and acid rain observation data.

This standard applies to the observation of acid rain at fixed ground sites.
