This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 18960-2012 "Vocabulary of Portable Chainsaws for Forestry Machinery": Compared with GB/T 18960-2012, except
Apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Changed "Logging", "Limbing", "Lumbering", "Rebound", "Drive Sprocket", "Saw Chain Pitch", "Saw Cut Length", "Front Hand Guard", "Guard Bar Head Guard"
Cover", "rear hand guard", "choke", "throttle trigger" and "clutch" (see 3:1:1, 3:1:2, 3:1:3, 3:1:6, 3:3:3,
3:3:6, 3:3:7, 3:4:2:1, 3:4:3, 3:4:6, 3:5:2, 3:5:8, 3:9:1, 2:1:1, 2:1:2, 2:1:3, 2:1:6 of the:2012 edition ,

g) Change the term "electric starter" to "electric starter" and change its definition (see 3:5:10, 2:5:12 of the:2012 edition);
h) Deleted the terms and definitions of "high chainsaw" (see 2:2:1:3 of the:2012 edition):
This document is equivalent to ISO 6531:2017 "Vocabulary of Portable Chain Saws for Forestry Machinery":
The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document:
