Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces LY/T 1808-2008 "Garden Machinery Pole Power Pruning Saw", compared with LY/T 1808-2008 main technology the changes are as follows.

--- Revised the name of the standard, and modified the "garden mechanical pole-type power pruning saw" into "the garden machinery powered by gasoline engine" Carrying a pole pruning saw" and modifying the corresponding English name;

---Modified the contents of the "normative reference document" (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2008 edition);

---Added the test method of "supporting gasoline engine" (see 5.2.2);

--- Revised the "starting performance" requirements and test methods (see 5.3.1, 2008 edition 5.2.2, 6.2);

--- Revised the requirements and test methods for "idle performance" (see 5.3.2, 2008 version 5.2.3, 6.3);

--- Increased the requirements and test methods for deceleration performance (see 5.3.3);

--- Increased the requirements and test methods for "highest no-load speed stability" (see 5.3.5);

--- Increased the "net quality of the whole machine" test method (see 5.3.7.2);

--- Increased the test method for "main component performance" (see 5.4);

--- Increased the requirements and test methods for "oil pump" (see 5.4.5);

--- Modified the "noise" test method (see 5.5.1.2, 2008 version 5.5.2);

--- Revised the "vibration" test method (see 5.5.2.2, 2008 version 5.5.3);

--- Added "Electromagnetic Compatibility" test method (see 5.5.3.2);

--- Increased the requirements and test methods for the "emission system" (see 5.5.4);

--- Deleted the contents of the "production test" (2008 version 6.8);

--- Added "third party inspection" content (see 6.4);

--- Revised the requirements of the "flag" (see 7.1.1, 8.1 of the 2008 edition), and added the test method of "flag" (see 7.1.2);

--- Added test method for "Instructions for Use" (see 7.2.2);

--- Added test method for "packaging" (see 7.3.2);

---Modified the contents of "Transport and Storage" (see 7.4, 2008 edition 8.3).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions and model preparations of a portable rod-type pruning saw powered by a gasoline engine (hereinafter referred to as "pruning saw").

Law, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to pruning saws with power units that are side-mounted or carried.
