This revised standard adopts the International Standard ISO 9911:2006 "Agricultural irrigation equipment - Manually operated small plastics valves" (in English).

This standard is based on ISO 9911:2006 redrafted.

--- Information about the material requirements to strengthen the polyamide (NP) valve;

--- Refine the requirements and test methods for the valve seal.

Since the implementation of this standard replaces GB/T 18689-2002.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods Manually operated small plastics valves used in agricultural irrigation systems.

This standard applies to nominal size 8mm ~ 100mm manual plastic valves. The valve is suitable for installation in the irrigation water temperature not exceeding 60 °C Pipeline, nominal pressure valve is determined by the manufacturer.
