1 Scope

GB/T 18292-2009 is the Chinese national standard on economical operation of domestic boilers, in the field of energy and heat transfer engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This standard applies to coal, oil, gas as fuel, water as a medium fixed rated working pressure of less than or equal to 1.0MPa and rated Evaporation less than 1t/h of steam boilers or rated thermal power less than 0.7MW of pressure hot water boilers and pressure hot water boiler. This standard does not apply to organic heat carrier furnace, stove, electric heating boilers and waste heat boilers.
