Scope

GB/T 15317-2009 is the English-translated version of 燃煤工业锅炉节能监测.

GB/T 15317-2009 sets out how the energy use of coal fired industrial boilers is monitored and tested.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the energy monitoring items, the monitoring methods and the assessment indicators, and it limits the application to industrial steam boilers whose rated thermal power or rated evaporation is greater than 0.7 MW (1 t/h) and not greater than 24.5 MW (35 t/h) and to industrial hot water boilers rated above 2.5 GJ/h.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 1576, GB/T 10180 and GB/T 17954.

Clause 3, industrial boiler energy monitoring project, is split between the inspection items of 3.1, which cover whether the boiler appears in the national phase-out catalogue, the training and employment certificates held by the main boiler operator, the recording and analysis of feedwater and boiler water quality against GB/T 1576, a thermal efficiency test report every three years and after a new installation, an overhaul or a technological renovation, carried out by a specialised unit according to GB/T 10180, and a boiler load that apart from short-term loads should not fall below 70 % of the rated evaporation or rated heat, and the monitoring test items of 3.2, namely the boiler flue gas temperature, the exhaust air coefficient, the carbon content of the slag and the furnace surface temperature.

Clause 4, industrial boiler energy monitoring method, requires testing under ordinary operating conditions, counts the test time from the moment steady thermal conditions are reached, reads the test parameters every 15 minutes and takes their arithmetic mean as the test result, requires instruments that suit the test items and are intact, within their test cycle and of an accuracy of not less than 2.0, and places the exhaust gas temperature test in a straight flue within 1 m of the outlet of the last stage of the boiler tail heating surface, where the draft breaks off.

Appendix A is normative and Appendix B is informative. It replaces GB/T 15317-1994, was issued on 2009-10-30 and has applied since 2010-05-01.

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 15317-1994 "industrial boiler energy-monitoring methods." This standard compared with GB/T 15317-1994, the main changes are as follows.

--- The standard name to "coal-fired industrial boilers energy monitoring";

--- Increased the circulating fluidized bed boiler energy monitoring requirements;

--- Added boiler operator requirements;

--- Check the project increased the fuel into the furnace requirements;

--- Check the items removed concerning emission rate requirements;

--- Modify the index calculation formula;

--- The assessment index requirements have been adjusted and refined;

--- Specifies the calculation method of the amount of energy waste;

--- Standardize the energy conservation monitoring report format.

Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix, Appendix B is an informative annex.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the coal-fired industrial boiler energy use monitoring program, monitoring methods and assessment indicators.

This standard applies to the rated thermal power (rated evaporation) is greater than 0.7MW (1t/h), is less than or equal to 24.5MW (35t/h) work Steam boilers and heating industry rated greater than 2.5GJ/h industrial hot water boiler.
