Foreword
GB/T 18147 "Test method for hemp fiber" consists of the following 6 parts.
- Part 1: Test method for oil content in hemp fiber;
- Part 2: Test method for residual gum content in hemp fiber;
- Part 3: Test method for length of hemp fibre;
- Part 4: Test method for fineness of hemp fibre;
- Part 5: Test method for breaking strength of hemp fiber;
- Part 6: Test method for defect in hemp fiber.
This Part is Part 6 of GB/T 18147.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 18147.6-2000 "Test method for hemp fibre - Part 6: Test method for defect in hemp fibre". Compared with GB/T 18147.6-2000, the main technical changes are as follows.
- CHANGE the Scope, changing the "hemp noil" into "cotton-type hemp fiber";
- ADD the normative reference GSB 11-1161;
- ADD a definition for "strip fiber";
- CHANGE "7 Procedure" into "7 Test procedure", revising the content;
- CHANGE "8 Results" into "8 Test calculations", adding two indicators "hemp granule content" and "strip fiber rate".
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 18147 specifies the test method for the defects of hemp fiber.
This part applies to raw white hemp sliver and cotton-type hemp fiber.
