Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 17814-2011 "Butylated hydroxyanisole, dibutyl hydroxytoluene, ethoxyquin and propyl gallate in feed Determination of Esters", compared with GB/T 17814-2011, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Extend the scope of application of high performance liquid chromatography to concentrate supplements and feed ingredients (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2011 edition);

b) The determination of butyl hydroxyanisole, dibutyl hydroxytoluene, ethoxyquinoline and propyl gallate by high performance liquid chromatography has been changed. Limit of detection and limit of quantitation (see Chapter 1 and Appendix A, Chapter 1 of the 2011 edition), adding high-performance liquid chromatography for the determination of terbutin detection limit and determination of butylated hydroxyanisole, dibutyl hydroxytoluene and ethoxyquinoline by hydroquinone and gas chromatography quantity limits (see Chapter 1 and Appendix A);

c) Added high-performance liquid chromatography for the determination of tert-butylhydroquinone (see Chapter 4);

d) Added the preparation of oil sample solution (see 4.5.1.1);

e) Deleted the packed column method in gas chromatography (see 4.2.4.1.2 of the 2011 edition).

1 Scope

This document describes butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), determination method of ethoxyquinoline (EQ) and propyl gallate (PG) by high performance liquid chromatography and gas phase analysis of BHA, BHT, EQ in feed Chromatographic method.

"High performance liquid chromatography" in this document is applicable to compound feed, concentrated feed, concentrate supplement, compound premixed feed, vitamin premixed determination of BHA, BHT, TBHQ, EQ and PG content in compound feed and feed raw materials, "gas chromatography" is applicable to compound feed, fish meal determination of BHA, BHT and EQ content in blood.

The detection limits and quantification limits of BHA, BHT, TBHQ, EQ and PG in this document are implemented in accordance with Appendix A.
