Scope

GB/T 17792-2014 is the English-translated version of 钼及钼合金棒.

GB/T 17792-2014 is the Chinese national standard on molybdenum and molybdenum alloy bar, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 24 July 2014 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 February 2015. Classification: ICS 77.150, CCS H63. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword

This standard is in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules drafted. This standard replaces GB/T 17792-1999 "molybdenum and molybdenum alloy bar." This standard compared with GB/T 17792-1999, the main changes are as follows:

--- Increased Mo2, MoLa alloy bar products and their requirements;

--- Revised sintered and extruded bar of predetermined diameter range and size deviation;

--- Revised sintered density requirements for bar products;

--- The content of chemical composition, test methods, inspection rules were revised;

--- Increasing the product contracts (or orders) content. This standard by the national non-ferrous metals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243) centralized. the company.
