Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 17676-1999 "Marking for Natural Gas Vehicles and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Vehicles" and is consistent with GB/T 17676-1999. Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
---The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1999 edition);
---A new chapter on "Terms and Definitions" has been added (see Chapter 3);
---The word "identification mark" has been changed to "requirement" (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.1999 edition);
---The general requirements in the sign requirements have been changed (see 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, Chapter 3, Suspension section,.1999 edition);
---Added requirements for logo layout and content (see 4.2);
---The graphic requirements for the logo have been changed, adding graphic representations for vehicles carrying dimethyl ether, liquid ammonia, and compressed natural gas (CNG). The graphic representation for adsorbed natural gas has also been modified. Natural gas vehicle logo (see 4.4,

---The color requirements for the logo have been changed (see 4.5,

1 Scope

This document specifies the markings for gas-fueled vehicles. This document applies to engines using liquefied petroleum gas, dimethyl ether, natural gas, hydrogen-compressed natural gas blends, or liquid ammonia as fuel. Car materials.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3730.1 and GB/T 17895-2025 apply to this document.
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 Gas-fueled vehicles shall bear a marking indicating the fuel type specified in this document. The graphic representation of the marking shall conform to the provisions of Appendix A.
4.1.2 The sign should be clearly identifiable and conspicuous against the background color, and should be permanently maintained. The sign should be waterproof and corrosion-resistant.
4.1.3 The font of the logo shall conform to the provisions of 4.4.
4.2 Logo Layout and Content
4.2.1 The shape of the logo for gas-fueled vehicles shall conform to the specifications in Figure
1.The corners of the rhombus may be rounded.
4.2.2 The sign should be of an appropriate size to facilitate readability and understanding. All information in the sign should be represented by symbols.
