What this standard covers
This standard specifies a variety of weather conditions, outdoor sound source the sound propagation through the atmosphere, caused by atmospheric absorption of sound attenuation is calculated. This standard applies to uniform meteorological conditions of the atmosphere, can also be used to identify different weather conditions into account atmospheric absorption loss difference between the measured sound pressure level of correction. This standard can be extended to non-uniform atmosphere, especially weather conditions varies with the height of the atmosphere, which are discussed in Appendix C.
