Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 17217-1998 "Urban Public Toilet Hygiene Standards", compared with GB/T 17217-1998, the main technology The changes are as follows:
---Modified the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1998 edition);
---Added "normative references" and "terms and definitions" (see Chapter 2 and Chapter 3);
---Adjusted the sanitation requirements including planning layout, facility design, facility construction and daily management (see Chapter 4 and Chapter 6,.1998 edition Chapter 4 and Chapter 5);
---The content of the construction process of harmless sanitary toilets has been added (see 4.3);
---Canceled the classification of public toilets in Table 1 of the original standard (see Table 1 of the.1998 edition);
---Adjusted the limits of some indicators (see Chapter 5, Chapter 3 of the.1998 edition);
---Added the sanitary requirements for the treatment of three compartment septic tanks, biogas purification tanks, manure and urine diversity, double urn and three urn manure storage tanks (see Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D);
---Added four-level odor intensity test method, fecal coliform instrument rapid test method and other normative appendices (see Appendix E, Appendix F, Appendix G). This standard specifies the hygienic requirements and hygienic evaluation indicators and thresholds for the planning, design, construction, and management of public toilets. This standard is applicable to new, rebuilt and expanded fixed public public use in cities, villages, tourist areas and expressway service areas. Planning, design, construction, management and hygiene evaluation of shared toilets and public restrooms set up in public places. Existing public toilets, school School public toilets and public toilets used by internal personnel of the unit can be implemented by reference.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Publictoilet Set up fixed toilets for public use in public activity places.
Note. According to whether it is attached to other buildings, it is divided into independent public toilets and attached public toilets.
3.2 Innocuous sanitary toilet Sanitary toilets with facilities to effectively reduce the infectiousness of biological pathogenic factors in feces.
Note. Three-cell and above septic tank type, biogas tank type, double urn and three urn type with front-end treatment facilities, urine-diverting type, and water flushing type with complete water and sewage Wait for the model toilet.
3.3 Front treatment facilities Before the feces from the toilets are discharged, the feces can reach the treatment facilities required by the harmless standards.
