Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 16963-1997 "International trade contracts code specifications." The main changes in the standards and GB/T 16963-1997 compared as follows:
--- Standard name from "International trade contracts code specifications" with "international trade contracts coding rules for";
--- Introduction of standards has been modified;
--- The scope of the standard has been modified;
--- Normative references have been modified;
--- Increased Chapter 3, "Terms and Definitions";
--- To Chapter 4, "the code structure" has been modified;
--- Increased Chapter 5, "Coding of the rules." This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee of e-business and focal points. This standard is mainly drafted by: China National Institute of Standardization, the Commerce Department License Bureau, China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
