Scope

GB/T 16417-2011 is the English-translated version of 煤炭可选性评定方法.

GB/T 16417-2011 fixes the method for evaluating the washability of coal together with the naming and division of washability grades. Clause 1 states that it applies to coal of a size fraction larger than 0.5 mm.

Clause 3 sets the evaluation method: washability is judged by the separation-density plus or minus 0.1 content method, the test is carried out in accordance with GB/T 478 or MT/T 320, and the content figure is computed at the theoretical separation density, which is read to two decimal places from the washability curve for a specified coal ash.

The same clause fixes the deductions, with refuse above 2.00 g/cm3 deducted at 100 % when the theoretical separation density is below 1.70 g/cm3 and low-density material below 1.50 g/cm3 deducted at 100 % when it is 1.70 g/cm3 or more, and requires the result to be expressed as a percentage rounded to one decimal place.

Clause 4 divides coal into five washability grades by difficulty of separation, with the grade names and their corresponding content ranges set out in Table 1 at not more than 10.0 %, 10.1 % to 20.0 %, 20.1 % to 30.0 %, 30.1 % to 40.0 % and more than 40.0 %.

Appendix A, which clause 3 allows users to consult when evaluating washability, is informative in this edition.

The standard was proposed by the China Coal Industry Association, is administered by SAC/TC42 and was drafted by the Tangshan Coal Science Research Institute, under ICS 73.040 and Chinese standard class D27; the changes listed in its foreword concern the deletion of the coal preparation terminology reference, the conversion of Appendix A to an informative annex, the number of significant figures for ash, heavy gangue and low-density material values, and the removal of the instruction to plot the washability curve on 200 mm by 200 mm graph paper.

It replaces GB/T 16417-1996, was issued on 2011-09-29 and has applied since 2012-03-01.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 16417-1996 "coal washability assessment methods." This standard compared with GB/T 16417-1996, the main changes are as follows.

--- Remove the normative references in "GB 7186-87 PREPARATION terminology" (Chapter 2 of the 1996 edition);

--- Appendix A to the informative annex (see Appendix A);

--- The A3 in "Appendix A" to "Appendix C", delete "optional curve plotted on graph paper 200mm x 200mm" (see The 1996 edition of Appendix A);

--- In Appendix A of the ash, heavy gangue, low-density material value, said after the decimal point to two significant figures (see Appendix A);

--- Remove A4.2.2 title "final value" (see the 1996 edition of Appendix A). The standard proposed by China Coal Industry Association.

This standard coal by the National Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC42) centralized.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for evaluating coal washability, naming and division level.

This standard applies to coal grain size larger than 0.5mm.

2 Normative references

The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version suitable for use herein Member. For undated references, the latest edition (including any amendments) applies to this document.

3 Evaluation Method

3.1 evaluating coal washability a "separation density ± 0.1 Content Act" (referred to as "delta ± 0.1 Content Law").

3.2 drifting test shall comply with GB/T 478 or MT/T 320's.

3.3 delta ± 0.1 content is calculated.

a) delta ± 0.1 content according to the theoretical separation density calculation;

b) the theory of separation density in an optional curve is determined (accurate to two decimal places) specified coal ash;

C) When the theoretical separation density less than 1.70g/cm3, Shen deduction Refuse ( > 2.00g/cm3) 100% calculated delta ± 0.1 content; Li On the separation density equal to or greater than 1.70g/cm3, the deduction Low Density (< 1.50g/cm3) 100% calculated delta ± 0.1 content;

d) delta ± 0.1 content expressed as a percentage, the calculation result after rounding to one decimal place.

3.4 evaluating coal washability may refer to Appendix A of.

4 Rating naming and classification

According to the degree of difficulty sorting the coal washability divided into five grades, each grade name and delta ± 0.1 content shown in Table 1.

Table 1 The classification of coal washability

delta ± 0.1 content /% Optional Level

<=10.0 easy to choose

10.1 to 20.0 moderate optional

20.1 to 30.0 is more difficult to choose

30.1 to 40.0 Refractory

> 40.0 extremely difficult election
