Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 16275-2008 "Urban Rail Transit Lighting". Compared with GB/T 16275-2008, except for structural adjustments and... Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Increased requirements for normal lighting setups (see 4.2.1);

b) Added requirements for general lighting settings in different zones (see 4.2.2);

c) Requirements for local lighting settings have been added (see 4.2.3);

d) Additional requirements for emergency lighting installation have been added (see 4.2.4);

e) Added requirements for duty lighting (see 4.2.5);

f) Added requirements for transition lighting setups (see 4.2.6);

g) Requirements for ambient lighting and landscape lighting have been added (see 4.2.7);

h) The lighting selection requirements have been changed (see 5.1,

4.2.1 of the.2008 edition);

i) Added specifications for LED light source selection (see 5.2);

j) Requirements for selecting emergency lighting sources have been added (see 5.3~5.5);

k) Added requirements for the selection of lighting fixtures for different locations (see 6.2);

1 Scope

GB/T 16275-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering lighting a metro - the platform, concourse and stair levels, the transition at the entrance so eyes can adapt, the tunnel and evacuation lighting that must survive the loss of the main supply, and the glare and uniformity limits. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 16275-2008.

This document specifies the lighting classification of urban rail transit lighting, as well as the installation, light sources, lighting fixtures, and their accessories for each type of lighting. Lighting placement, lighting quality, lighting standards, emergency lighting, lighting energy saving, lighting power distribution and control, operation, maintenance and measurement. This document applies to lighting in all locations within urban rail transit systems. This document does not apply to lighting for urban rail transit vehicles.

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 50034 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 General lighting Uniform lighting designed to illuminate the entire space.

3.2 Uniform lighting designed to illuminate a specific area in a workplace.

3.3 Local lighting Lighting designed for specific visual tasks, used to illuminate a particular area.
