Scope

GB/T 15940-2008 is the English-translated version of 同步数字体系信号的基本复用结构.

GB/T 15940-2008 is the Chinese standard "Basic multiplexing structure for synchronous digital hierarchy signals". Its scope clause reads: This standard specifies the multiplex structure at the network node interface (NNI) for Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) signals.

This standard applies to public telecommunication networks and private telecommunications systems and the use of SDH SDH multiplexing communication system structure, such as SDH Transmission equipment, SDH digital microwave communication equipment. Its clauses include terms and definitions.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the multiplex structure at the network node interface (NNI) for Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) signals.

This standard applies to public telecommunication networks and private telecommunications systems and the use of SDH SDH multiplexing communication system structure, such as SDH Transmission equipment, SDH digital microwave communication equipment.

2 Normative references

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent

Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research

Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions

ITU-TG. 780.2004 define the following terms apply to this standard.

3.1

Containers are (see 3.2) payload information structure comprising the virtual container. For each virtual container has its respective container, currently provided four

Standard container C-1, C-2, C-3 and C-4, C-1 and C-11 can be divided into C-12. China's use of the C-12, C-3, C-4 three standard capacity

Device, corresponding to the quasi-synchronous system (PDH) standard interface rate 2048kbit/s, 34368kbit/s (44736kbit/s) and

139264kbit/s.

3.2

Virtual container is the information structure used to support path layer connections in SDH, which consists of information payload and path overhead (POH) consisting of a block

Frame structure, the frame structure is repeated once every 50µs 125µs or identify VC-n frame start position location services provided by the network layer.

Already it provides for two types of virtual container

--- Lower order virtual container.

VC-n (n = 11,12,2,3), which consists of a single container C-n (n = 11,12,2,3) together with the corresponding lower-order virtual container path overhead (POH) composition. According to the definition of terms 3.5 "branch unit", when the VC-3 TU-3 is mapped to Shi, VC-3 is used as the low order virtual container. China's use

VC-12 and VC-3 as the lower-order virtual container.

--- Order virtual container

Combination of VC-n (n = 3,4), which consists of a single VC-n (n = 3,4) or a tributary unit group (TUG-2 or TUG-3) and the corresponding virtual container

Channel overhead (POH) components. According to the definition of terms 3.3 "snap" when the VC-3 is mapped to the AU-3 Shi, VC-3 is a high-end

Virtual container. China's use of VC-3 and VC-4 as a high-order virtual container.

3.3

Management unit is adapted to provide the information structure between higher-order channel layer and multiplex section layer, which consists of information payload (order virtual container) and

It indicates the payload frame start relative to the multiplex section snap-pointer offset starting composition.

There are two snap-in. AU-4 and AU-3. AU-4 together with the VC-4 with respect to the VC-4 indicating STM-N frame phase correction

Snap pointer accurate composition, AU-3 by a VC-3 plus instructions VC-3 with respect to the STM-N frame phase alignment of the snap-pointer […]
