Scope
GB/T 15614-2015 is the English-translated version of 日用陶瓷颜料光泽度测定方法.
GB/T 15614-2015 is the Chinese national standard on test method for measuring the glossiness of ceramic pigment, in the field of glass and ceramics industries. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 15 May 2015 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 December 2015. Classification: ICS 81.060.20, CCS Y24. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. This standard replaces GB/T 15614-1995 "ceramic pigment gloss measurement method", compared with the GB/T 15614-1995, Lord To technical differences are as follows:
--- Increasing the gloss measurement method under the provisions of different geometry (see 1);
--- Increasing the normative references (see 2);
--- Modify the terms and definitions (see 3, 1995 edition 2);
--- Remove the principle and gloss formula (see the 1995 edition 3.1, 3.2);
--- Modify the provisions of the instrument (see 5, 1995 edition 4.1);
--- Remove the specimen preparation in special circumstances (see the 1995 edition of 5.1e);
--- Revised test method requires an instrument procedure (see 7, 1995 edition 5.4);
--- Remove the gloss variation calculation (see the 1995 edition 6.3);
--- Modify the test report (see 9, 1995 edition of the 7). The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council. This standard by the national daily-use ceramics Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC405) centralized. This standard was drafted. 3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Gloss glossiness In the light source and the receiving geometry specified conditions, reflected from the object to mirror the direction of the luminous flux and a refractive index of
1.567 on the glass mirror Ratio of the reflected flux direction.
3.2 Relative reflectance relativeluminousreflectance Under the same geometrical conditions, the luminous flux from the standard sample plate surface of reflected light flux ratio. Principle
4 The method according to lighting and geometric conditions GB/T 3978 regulations, ceramic pigment sample measured relative to the standard plate reflectivity, namely Gloss value for the sample. In order to avoid applying the thickness, the use of color and white porcelain plate grilled effect of temperature on the gloss should be applied in a predetermined white porcelain plate of the same thickness Sample accordance with the provisions of colored roasted roast color specification method.
