Scope

GB/T 15032-2008 is the English-translated version of 制绳机械设备通用技术条件.

GB/T 15032-2008 specifies the general technical requirements for rope making machinery. It applies to machinery processing sisal fibre, and also to stranding and rope laying machines for other natural and synthetic fibres; machines working steel wire may use it for reference.

It defines the machines of the process line (carding machines, drawing frames, hackling machines, spinning machines, twisters, yarn reversing machines, stranding and rope laying machines), sets out how product models are coded, and lays down requirements for reliability (at least 90 %), bearing temperature rise and gearbox oil temperature, guards, safety signs, electrical safety, earthing resistance (<= 10 Omega) and no-load noise (<= 87 dB(A)), appearance, paint adhesion, castings, forgings, welds and machining, with test methods, inspection rules and marking, transport and storage.

It replaces GB/T 15032-1994, adding requirements for productivity, energy consumption, earthing resistance, paint film adhesion, hardness after heat treatment and gear accuracy, adding test methods and a maximum gearbox oil temperature, revising the load test and type inspection, and adding transport and storage requirements.

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 15032-1994, General requirements for rope laying machinery.

Compared with GB/T 15032-1994, the main changes in this standard are as follows:

— requirements for productivity, energy consumption, working performance, operational reliability and other indicators have been added;

— a requirement for the earthing resistance of the equipment has been added;

— a requirement for the adhesion of the paint film has been added, and the requirements for the paint surface have been revised;

— requirements for the hardness of parts after heat treatment have been added;

— requirements for the accuracy of gear pairs and worm gear pairs after assembly have been added;

— test methods for productivity, operational reliability, dimensional tolerances, form and position tolerances and other indicators have been added;

— a maximum oil temperature for the reduction gearbox has been added;

— the maximum temperature and temperature rise of the lubricating oil have been deleted;

— the test items of the load test have been revised;

— the inspection items and assessment rules of the type inspection have been revised;

— transport and storage requirements have been added.
