Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 1483, "Inspection Specifications for Lamp Holders and Bases". GB/T 1483 has already published the following parts.

---Part 1: Gauges for Screw-Type Lamp Holders and Bases;

---Part 2: Gauges for Plug-in Lamp Holders and Recesses;

---Part 3: Gauges for Prefocused Lamp Holders and Bases;

---Part 4: Gauges for Miscellaneous Lamp Holders and Bases;

---Part 5: Gauges for bayonet-type lamp holders and sockets.

This document supersedes GB/T 1483.1-2008 "Inspection Gauges for Lamp Holders and Bases Part 1: Gauges for Screw-Type Lamp Holders and Bases", and is consistent with...

Compared with GB/T 1483.1-2008, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The requirement for "gauge edge convex lines" has been changed (see 6.3, Chapter 6 of the 2008 edition);

---The requirements for non-compliant contact energy specifications for E26d lamp holders have been amended (see 6.3, Chapter 6 of the 2008 edition).

This document is modified to adopt IEC 60061-3:2005 "Lamp holders, lamp bases and gauges for testing their safety and interchangeability - Part 3: Gauges".

Compared with IEC 60061-3:2005, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.

---Added Chapter 1 "Scope", Chapter 2 "Normative References", Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions", and Chapter 4 "Product Classification and Subscriptions".

"Number" and Chapter 5 "Markings and Packaging".

The technical differences between this document and IEC 60061-3:2005, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

The gauge requirements for lamp holders shall meet the structural specifications of the sub-sections of GB/T 1483;

---Added normative references to GB/T 1406.1, GB/T 1957, and GB/T 19148.1 (see Chapter 1, 6.1, 6.3) to conform to Regulations for drafting standards in my country.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Inspection Gauges for Lamp Holders and Lamp Bases Part 1: Screw-Type Lamp Holders and Lamp Bases".

Gauges;

---Incorporates revisions from IEC 60061-3:1969/AMD56.2019 and IEC 60061-3:1969/AMD57.2020;

---The inspection gauge parameter loose-leaf number for lamp holders and sockets has been changed to include the national standard number before the IEC loose-leaf number;

---ISO 468 has been replaced with GB/T 1031, which is used for informational purposes.

---Added a reference table for the gauge model, name, loose sheet number, and page number of lamp holders and sockets for inspection.

Introduction

As important components of lamp accessories, lamp holders and sockets require interchangeability and safety as fundamental requirements for safe production.

Gauges are measuring tools used to inspect the dimensions of lamp holders and sockets, and are important inspection instruments to ensure the safety and interchangeability of lamp holders and sockets. GB/T 1483 the "Inspection Gauge for Lamp Holders and Lamp Bases" aims to standardize the gauges for inspecting the interchangeability of lamp holders and lamp bases, and is proposed to include the following five parts.

---Part 1: Gauges for Screw-in Lamp Holders and Bases. The purpose is to specify the dimensional and safety specifications for inspecting the interchangeability of screw-in lamp holders and bases.

Sexual metric.

---Part 2: Gauges for Plug-in Lamp Holders and Recesses. The purpose is to specify the dimensions and safety specifications for inspecting the interchangeability of plug-in lamp holders and recesses.

Sexual metric.

---Part 3: Gauges for Prefocused Lamp Holders and Bases. The purpose is to specify the dimensions for inspecting the interchangeability of prefocused lamp holders and bases.

Safety gauges.

---Part 4: Gauges for Miscellaneous Lamp Holders and Bases. The purpose is to specify the dimensional specifications for inspecting the interchangeability and safety of miscellaneous lamp holders and bases.

Gauges.

---Part 5: Gauges for Bayonet Lamp Holders and Bases. The purpose is to specify the dimensions and safety specifications for inspecting the interchangeability of bayonet lamp holders and bases.

Sexual metric.

GB/T 1483.1-2008 has been published for over ten years, and the inspection gauges for lamp holders and sockets in it are no longer compatible with the current mutual requirements of lamp holders and sockets.

Replaceability and safety requirements. This revision updates the technical requirements for inspection gauges of screw-type lamp holders and sockets, improving product safety during use.

It is of great significance to product quality, market regulation, and enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese products.

1 Scope

This document specifies the types and dimensions of gauges, product classifications and codes, and technical requirements for inspecting the interchangeability of screw-type lamp holders and sockets.

3 Terms and Definitions

This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.

4 Product Classification and Codes

Gauges are classified into five categories according to their purpose. go gauges, no-go gauges, contact gauges, accident-prevention contact gauges, and supplementary go gauges, which are represented by the following codes.

b) Stop gauge. "Stop" or "Z";

c) Contact specification. "Touch" or "C";

d) Accidental contact protection. "Anti-touch" or "FC";

e) Additional directional rule. "Supplementary directional rule" or "FT".

5 Markings and Packaging

5.1 The following clear and firmly attached markings shall be present on the non-working surfaces of the gauge.

a) The type of gauge (e.g., go gauge) or its designation (e.g., go or T);

b) The model number of the lamp holder and socket to be tested;
