This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 19148 "Types and Dimensions of Lamp Holders". GB/T 19148 has the following parts published.

---Part 1: Screw-in Lamp Holder;

---Part 2: Prong-type lamp holders;

---Part 3: Prefocused Lamp Holder;

---Part 4: Miscellaneous Lamp Holders;

---Part 5: Bayonet-type lamp holders.

This document supersedes GB/T 19148.1-2008 "Types and dimensions of lamp holders - Part 1: Screw-type lamp holders", and is consistent with GB/T 19148.1-Compared to 2008, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The requirement for "position of lamp holder threads related to the center contact of the lamp holder" has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the 2008 edition).

This document is modified to adopt IEC 60061-2:2005 "Lamp holders, lamp bases and gauges for testing their safety and interchangeability - Part 2: Lamps" seat".

Compared with IEC 60061-2:2005, this document has undergone the following structural adjustments.

---Added Chapter 1 "Scope", Chapter 2 "Normative References" and Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions".

The technical differences between this document and IEC 60061-2:2005, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---This document only retains the type and size requirements for screw-type lamp holders in IEC 60061-2:2005, and has deleted other types of lamp holders.

The type and size requirements shall be in accordance with the structural design of the sub-sections of GB/T 19148;

---The normative references GB/T 21098 and GB/T 1483.1 (see Chapter 4) have been added to adapt to my country's national conditions.

---To align with existing standards, the standard title has been changed to "Types and Dimensions of Lamp Holders Part 1: Screw-in Lamp Holders";

---Incorporates amendments from IEC 60061-2:1969/AMD38.2009;

---The lamp holder parameter leaflet number has been changed to include the national standard number before the IEC leaflet number;

---Added a table of lamp holder models, names, loose-leaf numbers, and page numbers.

Introduction

As an important part of lamp accessories, interchangeability and safety are fundamental requirements for ensuring the safe production of lamp holders. GB/T 19148 the "Types and Dimensions of Lamp Holders" aims to standardize the types and dimensions of lamp holders and is proposed to consist of five parts.

---Part 1: Screw-in Lamp Holders. The purpose is to specify the types, basic dimensions, and inspection methods of screw-in lamp holders.

---Part 2: Plug-in Lamp Holders. The purpose is to specify the types, basic dimensions, and inspection methods of plug-in lamp holders.

---Part 3: Prefocused Lamp Holders. The purpose is to specify the types, basic dimensions, and inspection methods of prefocused lamp holders.

---Part 5: Bayonet Lamp Holders. The purpose is to specify the types, basic dimensions, and inspection methods of bayonet lamp holders.

GB/T 19148.1-2008 has been published for over ten years, and the types and dimensions of lamp holders specified in it are no longer suitable for the interchangeability and safety of current lamp holders.

Sexual requirements. This revision updates the technical requirements for the type and size of screw-type lamp holders, aiming to improve product safety, quality, and standardization.

This is of great significance to the market and to enhancing the competitiveness of our products.

1 Scope

This document specifies the type and basic dimensions of screw-type lamp holders and describes the corresponding inspection methods.

This document applies to the design, manufacture, and inspection of screw-type lamp holders.
