Foreword

This standard is based on GB/T 1.1-2009 given rule drafting. This standard replaces GB 14174-1993, compared with GB 14174-1993, there are the following changes.

--- Chapter 1, "Scope" increased scope shall not apply;

--- Increased Chapter 3, "Terms and definitions" and the foundation "large caliber liquid nitrogen containers main terminology" in the original Appendix A (Supplement) Carried out on the appropriate additions, deletions and modifications;

1 Scope

GB/T 14174-2012 is the Chinese national standard on large caliber liquid nitrogen container, in the field of packaging and distribution of goods. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 31 December 2012 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2013. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
