Scope
GB/T 13747.10-2022 is the English-translated version of 锆及锆合金化学分析方法 第10部分:钨含量的测定 硫氰酸盐分光光度法和电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法.
GB/T 13747.10-2022 is the Chinese national standard on methods for chemical analysis of zirconium and zirconium alloys - part 10: determination of tungsten content - thiocyanate spectrophotometry and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 14 October 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 February 2023. Classification: ICS 77.120.99, CCS H14. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

4.1 Principle The sample was dissolved in a mixed acid of sulfuric acid-nitric acid-hydrofluoric acid. In the presence of hydrochloric acid, reduction of tungsten with stannous chloride, tetravalent tungsten (W4) and thiocyanate The salt formed a colored complex, and its absorbance was measured at a wavelength of 400 nm in a spectrophotometer.
4.2 Reagents or materials Unless otherwise stated, only reagents confirmed to be analytically pure were used in the analysis.
4.2.1 Water, GB/T 6682, Class II.
4.2.2 Nitric acid (rho=1.42g/mL).
4.2.3 Hydrofluoric acid (rho=1.13g/mL).
4.2.4 Hydrochloric acid (rho=1.19g/mL).
