Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 10112-1999 "principles working principles and methods", compared with GB/T 10112-1999 main technical changes

The following is as follows.

--- Added the terms "convention definition" "illustration definition" "professional concept" "term resource" "term product" "terminology product" and definition

(see 3.1~3.6);

--- Removed the concept feature "abstract and division" (see 3.2.3 of the.1999 edition);

--- Removed the relationship between concepts (non-hierarchical relationship) (see 3.3.2 of the.1999 edition);

--- Revised the description of the connotation and extension (see 5.4.3, 3.2.2 of the.1999 edition);

--- Revised the description of the genus relationship (see 5.5.2.2, 3.3.1.1 of the.1999 edition);

--- Added description of the object (see Chapter 4);

--- Added a description of the general concept (see 5.2);

--- Added a description of the individual concept (see 5.3);

--- Added a description of the referral (see Chapter 7).

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 704.2009 "terminology working principles and methods."

1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles and methods for the development and compilation of terminology in various fields of expertise, and describes the various connections between objects and concepts.

The general principles of terminology and definition are established.

This standard applies to the standardization of terminology in various professional fields. Other terminology work can also be used as reference.

This standard does not include the preparation of the terminology standard already specified in ISO 10241-1.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in ISO 1087-1 apply to this document.

Convention definition stipulativedefinition

The definition of applying a vocabulary to a particular situation for a particular purpose is not a standard usage.

3.2

Illustration defines ostensivedefinition

A definition given by pointing out or presenting an instance of one or more objects.

3.3

Professional concept specializedconcept

A concept that reflects professional or technical knowledge within a particular area of expertise.

Terminology resource terminologicalresource;terminologicaldatacolection;TDC

A text or data resource that contains separate entries, all of which use a specialized language to record concepts and use one or more human languages

To provide data related to this concept.

3.5

Term product terminologyproduct

Any product produced by the term resource. Used to support a language usage and a terminology domain, generated by the terminology resource

Any product.

Note. Products that support a specific language include. dictionaries, databases, and other products for the purpose of disseminating terminology; supporting a field of terminology

Products refer to magazines, training manuals, tools, etc.

Terminology product terminologicalproduct

A terminology product that supports a language based on the principles of terminology or lexicography.
