Scope
GB/T 10107.3-2012 is the English-translated version of 摆线针轮行星传动 第3部分：几何要素代号.
GB/T 10107.3-2012 is Part 3 of the Chinese national standard series on cycloidal drives, alongside Part 1 on basic terms and Part 2 on the representation method.
It specifies the symbols for the geometrical data of cycloid gears, pin gears and cycloidal pin-wheel planetary drives, and applies to such drives; the symbols must be consistent with the terms defined in GB/T 10107.1.
The list covers some 56 symbols: centre distance and eccentricity, tip, base, reference, pitch and root circle diameters and radii of the cycloid gear, pin centre circle, pin and output pin sleeve dimensions, tooth depth, transmission ratio, backlash, trochoid and pin diameter coefficients, base tangent length, tooth and pin-hole counts, meshing angle and meshing phase angle, and the profile modification and clearance quantities.
It replaces GB/T 10107.3-1988, revising and adding synonyms for dp, rp, Dw and Rw and introducing the new symbols D0, Deltarp, Deltarrp, Deltagamma, Deltae, Deltao and Deltai.

Foreword
GB/T 10107, Cycloidal drives, consists of the following three parts:
- Part 1: Basic terms;
- Part 2: Representation method;
- Part 3: Symbols of geometrical data.
This part is Part 3 of GB/T 10107.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 10107.3-1988, Cycloidal drives - Symbols of geometrical data. Compared with GB/T 10107.3-1988, apart from editorial changes, the main changes are as follows:
- the synonyms of dp, rp, Dw and Rw have been revised and added (see Clause 3);
- the new geometrical data symbols D0, Deltarp, Deltarrp, Deltagamma, Deltae, Deltao and Deltai have been added (see Clause 3).
This part was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the China Machinery Industry Federation.
