1 Scope

GB 7300.902-2022 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 9: coloring agents - beta,beta-carotene-4,4-diketone(canthaxanthin), in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 13 July 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 August 2023. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document is applicable to feed additive beta, beta-Hu produced by chemical synthesis with vitamin A acetate or beta-carotene as the main raw material Carotene-4,4-dione (Cantharidin) type 96; and using type 96 product as raw material, dissolved in dichloromethane, and added with feed raw material gelatin or starch Or feed additive lignosulfonate, etc., feed additive beta, beta-carotene-4,4-dione (Cantharidin) 10 prepared by spray drying.
