1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Offshore oil fixed platforms

During offshore oil extraction, the superstructure and facilities are supported by fixed steel jackets and piles.

3.2 unmanned platform

Platforms without living facilities, unattended and without on-site operations during normal production (excluding trestle bridges connected to manned platforms).
