GB 25115.5-2010 — This document specifies the safety requirements for ironing machines, feeders, and folding machines. This document applies to the following products. ---Roller and trough irons with a working contact area greater than 0.25m^2 (trough irons under pressure); --- An automatic folding machine for flat materials, compatible with roller and trough ironing machines; ---A folding machine for automatically folding small items (excluding exceptionally long towels); ---Multi-functional ironing machine. This document does not apply to chemical supply pumps, steam valves and gas supply pipelines, ventilation systems, material feeding systems, unloading systems, and exhaust systems. This document supersedes GB 25115.5-2010 "Safety Requirements for Industrial Washing Machinery Part 5.Ironing Machines, Feeders and Folding Machines".
Compared with GB 25115.5-2010, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2010 edition);
b) Added control system fault types (see 4.10).

The technical differences between this document and ISO 10472-5.1997, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1) to comply with the requirements for drafting Chinese standards;
b) ISO 10472-1 (see 4.1, 4.3, 4.5, 5.1~5.6, 5.8) has been replaced by the normatively referenced GB/T 25115.1-2026.
Chapters 6 and 7 are provided to facilitate the reading and application of product standards.
c) Added control system fault types (see 4.10) to comply with the requirements for drafting Chinese standards;
d) ISO 14119.1998 (see 5.2.1, Chapter 6) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 18831 to adapt to my country's technical requirements.

j) Replace EN60204-1.1992 (see 4.10, 5.2.1, 5.3, Chapter 6) with the normatively referenced GB/T 5226.1-2019.
k) ISO 13849-1.1999 (see 5.10, Chapter 6) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 16855.1-2025 to suit my needs.
