This standard specifies the safety requirements for passenger ground cable car design, manufacture, installation, operation and other aspects. This standard applies to commercial passenger ground lifts. This standard does not apply to non-profit-ground commuter cable car lifts and docks, mines, underground professional use.

3.1 Line Selection
